The sample ornaments are about 3.3 in (8.5 cm) tall with the hat. Yarn, hook size and tension affect the finished dimensions.

Before you begin
The guide uses a 2.0 mm crochet hook and cotton-blend yarn. Set aside about 30 g (96 m) of white, 20 g (64 m) each of light and dark blue, and small amounts of black, yellow, orange and pink.
Gather fiberfill, four pairs of 8 mm safety eyes, a tapestry needle and hanging ribbon. Stitch markers and pins are optional. You'll use a magic ring, single, half-double and double crochet, slip stitches, increases, decreases, sewing and embroidery.
Digital download & safety
You are purchasing a digital crochet pattern. The purchase includes the PDF. Finished ornaments and physical supplies are excluded.
The designs use small pieces, including safety eyes, and are intended as decorations. Keep the finished ornaments out of reach of young children.

This set is pure magic! I made all four characters for my tree, and they look like boutique ornaments. The instructions for the collars with the embroidered patterns are brilliant—it adds such a sophisticated touch compared to plain hats.
